#RenameTheSalad Initiative
When Chick-fil-A chose to leave the most important ingredient — CHICKEN — out of the name of the New Spicy Southwest Salad, the cows took to the internet asking people to help them get Chick-fil-A to #RenameTheSalad. In the YouTube Masthead, the cows invaded your personal space if you declined to help them. If you agreed to help, you were sent to their #RenameTheSalad Tumblr page. On the Tumblr page, visitors found a collection of arguments from the cows along with social media conversations between the cows and Chick-fil-A, Inc., all in an effort to get Chick-fil-A to add chicken to the name of the salad. Though the cows were unsuccessful, they did get a lot of support from their favorite chicken-loving humans while spreading awareness of the New Spicy Southwest Salad (with chicken) and inciting one of the most entertaining Twitter arguments in history.
