WORK

TRG / copywriter / 2010 - present

Current status: Creative Director - Copy.

I spend most of my time on Charles Schwab, namely Schwab Trading Services, Schwab Advisor Services, and DAFgiving360 (formerly Schwab Charitable). I also work on Gameway.

Previous clients include: Chick-fil-A, ThermaCare, Computershare Loan Services, DISH Network, Sub-Zero and Wolf, Firehouse Subs, the Southeastern Conference, Famous Footwear, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Tarrant County Water District, Vassarette, Fruit of the Loom, and HoneyBaked Ham.

the richards group / intern / 2009 - 2010

I scored an internship right out of the Creative Circus and finally got to try my hand at copywriting in the real world. I fell in love.

talent plus / intern / 2006

I was the e-marketing copywriter but wore many hats in this small, amazing shop. I also worked with the talent and scheduled VO, modeling, and acting auditions.

century interactive / intern / 2005 - 2006

I wrote and voiced scripts for the information section of the Yellow Pages in different markets. (Do kids even know what the Yellow Pages are? Oh $h!t. I’m old.) I was also the movie voice for Cincinnati - I am no longer afraid of my own voice on tape. The company is now called Call Box and they’ve morphed into something completely different because, well…Yellow Pages.

SMARTS

THE creative circus / copywriting / 2007 - 2009

It must have been my cover letter that got me in because, let's be honest, my portfolio from college sucked. Thank you to all the good people at the Circus for helping me craft a new one I could be proud of.

saint louis university / communications / 2003 - 2007

Aside from graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning a certificate in Creative and Professional Writing, I rode for the SLU Equestrian Team and played SLU Club Soccer. I was a member of the Advertising Club, the National Student Advertising Competition (Coca-Cola), Alpha Delta Sigma, Alpha Phi Omega, the American Advertising Federation, the National Scholars Honor Society, and the 2007 Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.

Ursuline academy of dallas / survivor / 1999 - 2003

For those who don't know, this is an all-girls college prep school. I learned so many things here that college was a breeze. I also learned lots about myself and how I despise girly drama. I kept myself busy playing varsity softball all four years. All State. All District. All wheels. Wanna race?

EXTRAS

CANE ROSSO RESCUE / DOG FOSTER MOM + VOLUNTEER / 2018 - PRESENT

I’m a major animal lover and I love to volunteer. Those two things came together for me in 2018 when I realized my favorite pizza joint also had a dog rescue. Donating and volunteering quickly led to fostering. My husband and I specialize in major medical and have rehabbed and found homes for over 30 dogs. Follow our fostering adventures here: @Cane_Rosso_Foster_Parents. Want to donate, volunteer, foster, or adopt? Let’s talk!

fraternal order of eagles / officer / 2016 - 2019

The FOE is an international non-profit organization raising and donating more than $10 million a year to local communities, fundraisers, charities, and more. After years of being an officer, I’ve passed the baton and am enjoying my plain ol’ member status.

alcuin school / class agent / 2003 - present

I work with the school and with other volunteer agents from each class year to set up Alcuin School Alumni events and inform our alumni of those events.

3 Nations brewing co. / volunteer / 2015 - 2019

Before this amazing brewery had actual employees, they had me. I'm still around for beers, but they’ve grown substantially and they don’t need free labor anymore. I used to sell brewery tours and merchandise, pour beers, kiss puppies, talk to customers, wash and restock glasses, etc. If there was a job to be done, that was my job. Grab yourself a pint sometime - you won’t regret it.

alcuin school / development committee / 2010 - 2012

I worked alongside the stellar people who do everything it takes, and then some, to keep this wonderful Montessori and International Baccalaureate program going. Most people don't think twice about their grade school, but I credit mine for my confidence and self-discipline.
